A 10% deposit to reserve your space on a tour is due at the time of booking.
Payments can be made by cheque or International Bank Transfer; any processing charges or fees are responsibility of the payer. The full payment will have to be paid 60 days before the start of the tour.
All tours are priced and charged in Euros (€) and payments must be made to match the Euro amount.
Guest Cancellation: If you are unable to join your tour as planned, we will provide any paperwork needed for your insurance claim should you wish to reclaim any retained travel or tour costs. If you have to abandon the tour for any reason, including but not limited to illness (including COVID-19) or injury, there will be no refund and you will be responsible for the costs associated with leaving the tour and any additional expenses incurred as a result.
Kayak Portugal Tours Cancellation: reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to incomplete minimum group number. We will inform participants of cancellations due to insufficient bookings at the earliest possible point and no later than 30 days prior to the tour departure date.
“Acts of God” Cancellation: If a tour has to be cancelled once the tour has commenced and due to circumstances beyond our control such as: political instability, civil disturbances, natural phenomena (fires, floods , storms or others potential weather conditions) epidemics, health risks and pandemics, there will be no refund from Kayak Portugal Tours – 7 Rivers Expeditions.
Prior to the tour, Kayak Portugal Tours – 7 Rivers Expeditions is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip participants in preparing for a cancelled trip (for example non-refundable advance purchase plane tickets, equipment or any other travel plans associated with your travel).
Kayak Portugal Tours – 7 Rivers Expeditions will make every reasonable effort to contact you as soon as it appears that a trip may be cancelled.
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, including interruption, cancellation and medical coverage to cover costs associated with your travel in case of unforeseen circumstances (family or work emergencies, delayed flights, lost baggage etc.)
Please contact your travel insurance provider to ensure you have appropriate coverage for your entire trip.
Once your tour is booked and your deposit is received by us, you will receive an email with a detailed documents (Pre – trip information and the final bulletin) that includes everything that you will need to prepare for your tour (including an itinerary, packing list and useful information about Portugal).

By travelling with Kayak Portugal Tours – 7 Rivers Expeditions, the participant agrees to follow the instructions given by the guides. Safety First!
A minimum of 4 participants are required for a tour to be organized in all our river tours.
All participants should be 16 years of age and older.
All participants with physical limitations, pathologies and allergies to any food, must notify Kayak Portugal Tours in the given form.
Guests travelling from outside Portugal but within the European Community must carry a valid passport or identity card.
Guests travelling from outside the European Community must carry a valid passport.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you fulfil the entry requirements for your trip. Kayak Portugal Tours – 7 Rivers Expeditions cannot be held responsible for refusal of entry.

Gratuities are not included in your tour costs. Gratuities are always appreciated. If you feel the guides and crew have done an exceptional job, tipping is a great way to show your appreciation. How much to give is entirely up to each guest.
In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we want you to know that any personal data you provide during the booking process — including your name, contact details, and any photos or videos taken during the tour — will be processed securely and used only for the purposes you agree to.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time, as well as the right to withdraw consent for photo use. If you have questions about how we handle your data, you can contact us.
